Supporting the Lakeside Concert Series and Our Arts Programs

The Lakeside Concert Series is one of the Northwoods Arts Council’s most cherished programs and also one of our largest expenses. These free summer concerts bring live music to our community and remain a highlight of the season for many.

Across Minnesota, support for the arts has softened this year as households and funding sources adjust to changing economic conditions. At the same time, grant competition has increased, and we are working to close a funding gap following the loss of a $5,000 grant that supported the Lakeside Concert Series in past years.

Even in this environment, we remain committed to sustaining the concerts and all of our arts programs. Community support has always been at the heart of what we do, and thoughtful contributions of any size help ensure these traditions continue.

Donors are welcome to support the Lakeside Concert Series specifically or contribute to the general fund, which allows us to respond where the need is greatest across all programs.
