You're in for a treat at the Lakeside Concert Series this Friday, August 4th as Acoustofiddle, a popular and uniquely eclectic musical duo, returns as a four-piece band as Acoustofiddle Band. This band hails from a small town in Northern Minnesota and has gained immense popularity within 10 miles.

While typically consisting of Jeff Menten and Paul Nye, the duo recently wowed the audience with their performance. Now, as a band, they bring an even broader range of musical styles to the stage. Expect to be delighted by their signature blend of "Funky Folk, Punky Polka, Caffeinated Celtic, Cool Classical, Grassy Blues, and Gypsy Jazz." But that's not all! The band also adds their own eccentric twist to well-known pop songs, creating a truly unforgettable experience.

Acoustofiddle's members have expanded for this special performance, including Kirk Christman on bass and Scott Jasmin on drums and percussion. With this larger ensemble, the band promises to captivate the audience with an even greater musical variety.

While the band would never impose the cliché "be there or be square" on their fans, it's safe to say that attending this concert will offer a heightened experience compared to what "normal people" would typically encounter. So, if you have the chance, just be there and let the music transport you.

The concert will kick off at 5 p.m. at the Lakeside Pavilion in Hackensack's City Park, providing the perfect backdrop for an evening of musical enchantment. Don't forget to BYOLC&K (Bring Your Own Lawn Chair & Kazoo), especially the latter if you want to play along with the band and perhaps mildly annoy your fellow lawn chair companions.

Friday, August 4, 5-7 PM

In the event of rain, the concert will be moved to the Hackensack Community Building.
