idle or absent-minded indulgence in fantasy; daydreaming.
The artist’s first exhibition at the gallery features a series of organic forms and renderings of natural scenes made of wool and other fibers.
Drawing from her deep love of nature, especially the odd and overlooked details, Jordan creates pieces that seem at once fantastic and yet familiar. She asks the viewer to let their minds wander and indulge in a bit of daydreaming while engaging with her works.
Join us for an opening reception on Friday, July 13 from 5 - 7pm in the Crossing Arts Gallery. Food and refreshments will be served. This exhibition will be on display through August 4.

Events At Ripple River Gallery
"Watercolors", an exhibition of watercolor paintings by Don Dickinson will be on display at Ripple River Gallery July 11 - August 12. Dickinson's work explores urban landscapes through a distorted perspective. He enjoys visualizing energy, through cities that can be chaotic experience and the challenge is to produce an equivalent feeling. His work attempts to avoid static "pretty" compositions in favor of more diagonals and oblique composition. As a result of this, his paintings move in the directions of a raw street photography approach.
Ripple River Gallery is open 10am - 5pm, Wednesday through Saturday, and from 11am - 4pm on Sundays. For more information contact us at 218-678-2575 or email@example.com
