Northwoods Arts Council in Hackensack, Minnesota Welcomes you to our web site!
It is the interest of the Northwoods Arts Council to provide education, research, entertainment and economic development. We are "Bringing the Arts to Life" in North Central Minnesota. The Council was formed in September, 1993, by a group of seven people who were interested in bringing theatre, art and educational opportunities to Hackensack and the surrounding area. Since that date, Northwoods Arts Council has established legal and tax exempt status as well as banking privileges. In 1994, the Cass County Board of Commissioners designated the Northwoods Arts Council as the umbrella arts organization in Cass County.
